The first pups in Australia by DJAYS OCTANE are on the ground and it’s noticeable that he is having great litter sizes with 82 pups from his first 10 litters .. an average of 8.2 pups a litter.

The first matings in Australia to BELLA INFRARED are Bekim Bale’s litter sister FYNA BALE and top class Victorian producer CLARETOWN ANNIE who had 8 pups … FYNA is probably the lessor known member of her illustrious litter, which also included Defrim, Heston and Irma Bale .. but she still managed to win 14 races and $83k in stakes and win over all distance at Sandown. Also recently mated to Bella is Gr 1 Australian Cup winner ZARA ZULU. TAYLORS SKY – updated January 2014
English Derby winner Taylors Sky is off to a good start with his first four bitches mated in Australia … not only are they top quality matrons but they are also owned by top class breeders, which is equally as important.

ADELLE BALE, owned by leading NSW breeder Paul Wheeler has whelped 5d & 3b on the 1st of October to be Taylors Sky’s first litter in Australia. She is Bekim Bale’s litter sister and comes from a super litter that also included Heston, Defrim and Irma Bale .. Adelle Bale picked up over $58k on the track and won over the 715m at Sandown in 41.97.

His next litter is from the 2009 Young Star Classic winner, ZAMBOLA BALE, who whelped 6d & 3b on the 28th October. A daughter of Collision out of the Spiral Nikita bitch Maple Bale, Zambola Bale won $152k in stakes and as well as winning the Young Star Classic, she was a finalist in the Melbourne Cup, the Darwin Cup and McKenna Memorial.

Owner and breeder of superstar Glen Gallon, Steve Williams from Velocity Lodge in Queensland has had two bitches whelp to Taylors Sky. We will confirm the litter sizes and whelping dates shortly
They are VELOCITY STORM (Bombastic Shiraz x Velocity Thunder) and Velocity High (High Earner x Bogie Skye).
Velocity Storm was a 30.00 winner at The Gardens and is a litter sister to the brilliant Richmond 400m track record holder and Tweed Heads Galaxy finalist, Tiz Now.
Her dam is a daughter of US sire Flying Penske from the Subjective branch of the National Queen damline. Steve’s second bitch is Ipswich Futurity victor VELOCITY HIGH who also won at Albion Park in 30.03 and is out of Bogie Skye, a litter sister to Group 1 Winter Carnival Cup winner, Bogie Blaze.
